The DuPage County Health Department reported 30 new cases of COVID-19 in Hinsdale over the past week, bringing the total number of cases in the DuPage County portion of Hinsdale to 4,337, compared to 4,307 last week. The Cook County Health Department no longer reports on cases specific to Hinsdale.
The number of cases per 100,000 population in DuPage rose to 26.7 on Dec. 13, compared to 24.1 on Dec. 6. The community level remains at medium.
District 181 reported 11 new positive cases from Dec. 6-13, including nine students, one teacher and one staff member, for a total of 153 districtwide since school opened.
District 86 reported nine new positive cases at Hinsdale Central Dec. 9, bringing the student total to 62 since school opened.
