Hinsdale police made two driving under the influence arrests during the recent Super Bowl enforcement campaign.
One of the motorists charged with DUI was also charged with a felony for possession of a controlled substance. Officers who participated in the enforcement campaign also issued 14 speeding tickets, one distracted driving citation and three citations for other violations to the during the enforcement effort, which ran from Feb. 10-13.
The initiative was made possible by federal highway safety funds administered by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
