Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Feb. 21.
DUI arrest
Matthew Hinojosa, 23, 301 Chatelaine Court, Willowbrook, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08, improper lane use, failure to signal when changing lanes and driving with one headlight at 2:43 a.m. Feb. 19 at Ogden Avenue and York Road.
He was charged and released to appear in court.
Man arrested on warrant
Michael R. Kearney, 34, 3821 Arthur Ave., Brookfield, turned himself in at 9:21 a.m. Feb. 20 at the Hinsdale Police Department, 121 Symonds Drive, on an active arrest warrant out of DuPage County. He posted bond and was released to appear in court.
Domestic battery arrest
A 24-year old Bolingbrook man was arrested for domestic battery Feb. 15 at Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St., for making contact of an insulting or provoking nature with a family member.
He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
Luxury watch stolen from car
A victim reported that her $15,200 watch was missing from her center console after a car wash at Fuller’s, 102 W. Chicago Ave., between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Feb. 13. The theft was reported Feb. 17.
Plate taken from car
The front license plate was stolen from a vehicle parked in the lot at 907 N. Elm St. between 6:10 a.m. and 12:40 p.m. Feb. 14.
Identity thefts reported
• Someone intercepted a check mailed by a resident of the 900 block of North Madison Street between Jan. 1 and 8 and altered the payee and the amount. The incident was reported Feb. 13.
• The identity of a resident of the 200 block of South Thurlow Street was used to open a loan July 20. The incident was reported Feb. 13.
