Hinsdale police released the following reports March 21.
Stolen vehicle arrest
Julian L. Matino, 28, 186 Surrey Drive, Glen Ellyn, was arrested for felony possession of a stolen motor vehicle at 12:03 a.m. March 19 at the BP Gas Station, 149 E. Ogden Ave. A registration inquiry showed the vehicle had been reported stolen to police in St. Louis, Mo. Matino was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
DUI arrests
• Quinton M. Watts, 33, 619 E. Galena Blvd., No. 2, Aurora, was arrested on a felony complaint of obstructing justice, driving under the influence of alcohol, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver, speeding, improper lane use, transportation of open alcohol by a driver and prohibited deposits on rights of way at 11:44 p.m. March 18 in the 600 block of West Ogden Ave. He was in possession of a plastic baggie containing and green leafy substance that field test positive for cannabis and had an open container of alcohol. He was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
• Police responded to a property damage accident at 2:15 p.m. March 18 in the 400 block of West Ogden Avenue and observed a suspect who appeared to be under the influence of alcohol but refused testing. A search warrant was obtained for a blood test, and the suspect complied. He was released; charges are pending the lab results.
Attempted trespass arrest
James A. McGann, 21, 234 S. Adams St., Hinsdale, was arrested on three misdemeanor complaints of attempted criminal trespass to residence on March 16. He was observed on surveillance videos attempting to enter the back doors of two homes in the 400 and 600 blocks of South Bruner Street between 1:04 and 1:11 a.m. Police located the suspect in the 400 block of South Bruner, where he was taken into custody before being charged and released to appear in court.
Retail theft arrest
Melissa J. Krok, 40, 7901 W. Tiffany Court, Palos Hills, was arrested on a felony count of retail theft and for resisting or obstructing a police officer at 1:25 p.m. March 16 at Yankee Peddler, 30 E. Hinsdale Ave. Police were called and found the suspect in possession of merchandise worth more than $300 with the intention of taking the items. She was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
Suspended license arrests
• Luis A. Cortes Razo, 27, 3826 S. Honore St., Chicago, was arrested for driving with a suspended license at 12:48 p.m. March 16 at Jefferson Street and Fuller Road.
He was charged and released to appear in court.
• Madison J. Hamilton-Dryden, 38, 1472 Clybourne St., Batavia, was arrested for driving with a suspended license at 4:26 p.m. March 20 at Ogden Avenue and Vine Street. He also had an active arrest warrant out of DuPage County, for which he posted bond and was released to appear in court.
Forgery at gas station
A known suspect completed a transaction using a counterfeit $100 bill at 3:38 p.m. March 9 at Shell Gas Station, 210 E. Ogden Ave. The incident was reported March 12, and the case is pending.
