Hinsdale police distributed the following reports June 21.
DUI arrest
Jose J. DeLaCruz Suarez, 36, 3545 W. 81st St, Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than 08, disobeying a traffic control device, transportation of open alcohol and stopping, standing or parking where prohibited at 10:30 p.m. June 17 at Ogden Avenue and the Tri-State Tollway. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Business burglarized
The front door of Soltwisch Plumbing, 422 W. Chestnut St., was forced open, the interior ransacked and $39,000 in tools stolen between 5:30 p.m. and 7:20 a.m. June 12.
Domestic battery report
A known suspect entered an apartment without permission and made contact of an insulting or provoking nature with the victim after a domestic dispute June 20. The victim reported the suspect had threatened to damage her vehicle, and the side mirrors were later observed to have been damaged.
Catalytic converter stolen
The catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle was parked in the lot at Hinsdale Covenant Church, 412 S. Garfield Ave., between May 15 and 22. The theft was reported on June 15.
