Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Aug. 29.
Battery arrest
Amy E. Colomb, 56, 10S320 Jamie Lane, Willowbrook, was arrested on a felony charge of aggravated battery for making contact in an insulting and provoking nature with a victim at 1:09 p.m. Aug. 25 in the 10 block of East Hinsdale Avenue. She was charged and taken to DuPage County Jail.
Arrest for suspended license
Victor A. Flores, 22, 7214 S. Wood St., Chicago, was arrested for driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle at 9:33 a.m. Aug. 25 at 55th and Oak streets. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Fraud case reported
Someone gained access to the bank account of a resident of the 800 block of South Bodin Street and made $7,000 in fraudulent transactions between 2:16 and 6:46 a.m. Aug. 1. The incident was reported Aug. 26.
Tires vandalized
Two tires were punctured on a vehicle while it was parked in the Kramer Foods parking lot, 34 S. Vine St., between 11:10 a.m. and 8:10 p.m. Aug. 22.
Hit and run reported
A vehicle was struck in the Hinsdale Central High School parking lot, 5500 S. Grant St., between 12:30 and 3:15 p.m. Aug. 21.
Identity theft incidents
• The identity of a resident of the 400 block of South Elm Street was used to open a credit card account between Aug. 13 and 15. The incident was reported Aug. 23.
• Someone used the identity of a resident of the 100 block of East Seventh Street to open a credit card account on Aug. 2. The incident was reported Aug. 24.
• The identity of a resident of the 400 block of East Third Street was used to open fraudulent credit card accounts between Feb. 1 and Aug. 24.
• Some used the identity of a resident of the 400 block of West Fourth Street to attempt to open a credit card account between April 1 and Aug. 25.
• Credit card account information belonging to a resident of the 700 block of Mills Street was used to charge about $5,000 in fraudulent transactions between June 1 and Aug. 22.
• The identity of a resident of the 800 block of Taft Road was used in a vehicle purchase application on Aug. 22, in which the suspect presented a fraudulent ID with the victim’s information and an altered photo.
Arrests do not constitute conviction of a crime, and individuals listed here should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
