Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Sept. 6.
DUI arrests
• Christopher C. Munday, 52, 2039 W. Armitage Ave., Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lighting at 12:13 a.m. Sept. 4 at Route 83 and 31st Street. He was charged and released to appear in court.
• Vinnie M. Gibson Jr., 29, 1545 S. Ardmore Ave., Villa Park, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal transportation of alcohol by a driver and illegal standing or parking where prohibited at 7 p.m. Sept. 4 at Madison and Walnut streets after police were dispatched to a report of a vehicle stopped in traffic. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Assault arrest
Steven V. Pebelske, 39, 724 Phillippa St., Hinsdale, was arrested for assault for throwing a telephone at an employee of Weller Dental, 920 N. York Road, at 2:02 p.m. Aug. 31. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Identity theft reported
Someone used the identity of a resident of the 100 block of South Clay Street to open credit card accounts Aug. 22. The incident was reported Sept. 1.
