Ruth W. Rohr nee Wehringer, 87, former 60-year Hinsdale resident, passed away Aug. 28, 2023.
She was born in 1924 in Chicago. She worked as a secretary in banking before her retirement and was a longtime member of Burr Ridge Community Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willis; and her son, James Rohr.
She is survived by her daughter, Susan (the late Jeffrey) Kozel; her grandchildren, Matthew (Stacy) Rohr, Jaime Rohr and Scott (Bridget) Rohr; and her great-grandchildren, Ashley, JJ, Will, Ezmae (Matthew's), Joshua and Emily (Jaime's) and Madelyn and Grace (Scott's).
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 25, at Burr Ridge Community Church, 15W 100 Plainfield Road, Burr Ridge.
Interment will follow at Clarendon Hills Cemetery in Darien.
