Robert Edward Bobber, 85, of Vernon Hills, a 53-year resident of Clarendon Hills, passed away Oct. 1, 2023.
He is survived by his wife, Ruth A. Bobber, née Devience; his children, Robert M. (Kirsten) Bobber, Alice (Aaron) Arnold and Carol (Erik) Nelson; his grandchildren, Ryan, Jeremy, Spencer, Erica, Andrea, Catarina and Mabel; his siblings, Joan (the late Bill) Sherlock and Sister Kay Bobber, Dolores (the late Joseph) Karnia, Marian (Elmer) Maue and Don Bobber; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Marty Bobber.
Visitation is from 4 to 7 tonight, Oct. 5, at Sullivan Funeral Home, 60 S. Grant St., Hinsdale.
Family and friends will meet Friday, Oct. 6, for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Notre Dame Church, 64 Norfolk Road, Clarendon Hills.
Interment is at Ascension Catholic Cemetery in Libertyville.
