Martha Jane Pool Bouterse, 77, known affectionately as Jane, passed away peacefully Sept. 9, 2023, in Hinsdale.
She was born in 1946 at Jennie Stuart Memorial Hospital in Hopkinsville, Ken., to Douglas and Captola Thomas Pool.
Throughout her life, Jane left an indelible mark on the hearts of those fortunate enough to know her. She will always be remembered for her radiant warmth, kindness and timeless beauty. Her sense of style was a reflection of her inner grace and elegance. Her legacy will live on through the cherished memories and the love she shared with family and friends.
Jane is survived by her husband of 47 years, Donald Bouterse; and her daughter, Heather Mauldin.
An announcement will be made for a ceremony at Riverside Cemetery in Hopkinsvile at a later date.
