Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Oct. 10.
Arrest for hit and run
Andrea Taborsky, 67, 715 Walnut Drive, Darien, was arrested for failure to reduce speed to avoid a crash and failure to give information at an accident involving vehicle damage following a property damage crash at 8 a.m. Oct. 6 at Ogden Avenue and Adams Street. The suspect fled the scene of the crash without leaving her information. She was cited and released to appear in court.
Park bathroom vandalized
A soap dispenser in the bathroom at Veeck Park, 701 E. Chicago Ave., was found damaged at 10:51 p.m. Oct. 5.
Mail theft and forgery
Two checks mailed via certified mail at the Hinsdale Post Office, 109 Symonds Drive, were not delivered, and the victim reported a check was forged using his bank account information. The incident occurred between Sept. 8 and Oct. 4.
Arrests do not constitute conviction of a crime, and individuals listed here should be presumed innocent until proven guilty.
