Helen Benes, 79, of Homer Glen, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away Oct. 13, 2023, in Willowbrook.
She was born in 1944 in Thomasville, N.C., to Earl and Mary Bell.
Helen was a 20-year member of Union Church of Hinsdale.
She is survived by her husband, Eugene Benes; her brother, James Bell; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday Nov. 4, at Union Church of Hinsdale, 137 Garfield Ave.
