Several District 181 schools hosted special Veterans Day programs Friday. At Monroe School, Maren Haarlow and with her fellow classmates stand and recite the Pledge of Allegiance. The program started with members of the Hinsdale American Legion Post 250 presenting the colors. The program featured songs, a presentation by the student council and an introduction to the members of the post as well as students' family and friends who served.
