Ronald Jung, 71, of Willowbrook, passed away Nov. 8, 2023, after a battle with stomach cancer.
He was born in 1952 to the Roland and Mae Jung in Chicago. After graduating from Argo Community High School, he went on to earn his degree in business at Northern Illinois University.
Upon graduation, he followed in his grandfather’s, father’s, and uncles’ footsteps and started working at Hong Kong Noodle Co. He later ventured into franchise ownership with several UPS Stores, and was the owner of the Hinsdale UPS Store in Grant Square.
He enjoyed spending time with family, traveling, not letting anyone eat alone and getting into mischief with his cousins and friends.
Ron is survived by his wife of 44 years, Debbie; his three children, Adam (Abby) Jung, Laura (Brett) Montgomery and Eric (Amy Carlson) Jung; his three grandsons, Will, Benji and Miles; and his nephews and niece, Chris Jung, Matt Jung, Mac Adams and Lacy (Mitchell) Barnette.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A service was held Nov. 13 at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home in Willowbrook.
