Children from the Union Church Gather + Grow groups participated in Eleanor's Project earlier this month, filling 310 Christmas stockings with toothbrushes, toothpaste, crayons, socks, games, toys, gloves and candy. The stuffed stockings were topped with a hat to keep the recipient warm this winter. Antonia Logan, Lucy Kieffer, Ava Poetter, Henry Weil and George Schaefer work on filling the stockings. Alex Weil and Charlotte Poetter select a Beanie Baby to include. The finished stockings were sent to charities that support underserved and vulnerable children. (Jim Slonoff photos)
