Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Dec. 27.
DUI arrests
• Paula A. Sledzik, 45, 1071 W. 15th St., Chicago, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and illegal stopping, standing or parking at 9:46 a.m. Dec. 20 in the 500 block of South Lincoln Street. Police observed her asleep at the wheel of a parked vehicle that was running. She was charged and released to appear in court.
• Michael V. Serpico, 42, 1700 Riverwoods Drive, Melrose Park, was arrested for driving under the influence of drugs and parked with left wheel to the curb at 7:35 p.m. Dec. 23 at Minneola and Justina streets. Police were dispatched to a well-being check and found him asleep at the wheel of parked vehicle. He was charged and released to appear in court.
• Justin C. Luke, 34, 224 Fourth St., Downers Grove, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol content higher than .08, speeding, failure to yield to emergency vehicles and expired registration at 1:34 a.m. Dec. 24 in the 100 block of East Ogden Avenue. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Trespass arrest
Shermon T. Horton, 27, 202 S. Hebbard St., Joliet, was arrested for criminal trespass to vehicle at 2:45 p.m. Dec. 22 after he was stopped for a registration inquiry and police discovered the vehicle he was driving had been reported stolen out of Chicago. He was charged and released to appear in court.
Identity theft
Someone used the identity of a resident of the 200 block of South Bruner Street to open a credit card account and make fraudulent charges between Dec. 23 and 26.
