Adeline Joy Bauer, infant daughter of Julie and Matthew Bauer, was born with a extremely rare brain tumor on Dec. 22, 2023, and passed peacefully on the day of her birth.
Baby Adeline Joy was loved greatly and will be deeply missed by all of her family and friends who awaited her birth.
She is survived by her parents, Julie and Matthew Bauer of Mechanicsburg, Penn., formerly of Hinsdale; her paternal grandparents, Patrick and Mary Bauer of Hinsdale; her paternal great-grandmother, Betty Mae Bauer of Hinsdale; her maternal grandparents, Kathleen and James C. Beveridge; her maternal great-grandfather, James A. Beveridge; her aunts, Caroline Bauer Mason, Amelia Bauer, Jennifer Ward and Joanna Beveridge; her uncles, R. Hunter Bauer, Joseph Bauer and Joseph Beveridge; and many cousins, great aunts and great uncles.
Her funeral Mass was celebrated Dec. 27 at St. Catherine Labouré Catholic Church, National Shrine of the Miraculous Medal in Harrisburg, Penn.
She was laid to rest at Holy Cross Cemetery in Harrisburg. Wiedeman Funeral Home in Oberlin, Penn., handled the arrangements.
