Friday afternoon's pep rally at Hinsdale Central cast an unusual glow on things, as the source of lighting was black lights, along with a colored spotlight every now and again. With performances by the cheerleaders and pommers, the main gym was filled with cheers and shouts of encouragement. A four-way tug of war between the classes was a big hit as was a quick staff vs. students basketball game. They might have looked good, but the staff fell short in the game, only scoring one basket.
