Gerard Facchini, 89, of Darien died Feb. 16, 2024.
Gerard was a U.S. Army Veteran, dedicated attorney, proud member of the Justina Society of Law and an avid sailor. He will be missed by his loving family, numerous friends and colleagues. He had a law practice in Hinsdale for many years.
He is survived by his wife, Lucille Facchini, nee Masessa; his children, Francis R. (Margaret) Facchini M.D. of Hinsdale, Gerard A. "Gerry" (Lisa) Facchini and Michael S. (Ashley) Facchini; his grandchildren, Isabella M., Cuyler F., Fiona D. Francesca R. and Enzo J. Facchini; his sister, Theresa (the late Richard) Carsello; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his siblings, Rocco (Della) Facchini and Francis Facchini. A funeral Mass was said Feb. 21 at St. Isaac Jogues Church in Hinsdale.
