Members of the Hinsdale Central varsity boys swim and dive team will compete at the IHSA state final meet Friday and Saturday, Feb. 23 and 24, at the FMC Natatorium in Westmont.
Representing Red Devil Nation are seniors Nojus Bertulis (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard freestyle), Zack Brown (1-meter diving), Nate Harris (100-yard freestyle, 200-yard freestyle), Jeffrey Hou (100-yard butterfly, 200-yard IM, 200-yard medley relay) and Brody Marcet (50-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard medley relay); juniors Frankie Adamo (200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay), Josh Bey (100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard IM, 200-yard medley relay), Henry Guo (100-yard backstroke, 100-yard butterfly, 200-yard freestyle relay), Noah Pelinkovic (500-yard freestyle, 400-yard freestyle relay) and Bruno Vergara (200-yard freestyle relay); sophomores Brandon Suliga (200-yard freestyle relay) and Matthew Vatev (100-yard breaststroke, 200-yard medley relay, 400-yard freestyle relay); and freshman Luke Vatev (200-yard freestyle, 500-yard freestyle, 400-yard freestyle relay).
