June Barrow McGannon, 96, of Wheaton, formerly of Hinsdale, died Feb. 28, 2024.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas V. McGannon Jr.; and her sister, Ann Barrow Goulding Ivins.
She is survived by her children, Ann (James) Compton, Thomas V. McGannon III, Marcie Cavanagh, Patrick (Bea) McGannon, M. Kathleen McGannon and Laura (Larry) Stavenger; her grandchildren, Jesse (Choi Kwun) McGannon, Brett McGannon, Jenny Blauvelt, Shannon (Jamie) Strabala, Jamie (Dennis Hull) Cavanagh, Kimberly (Garett) Dietrich, Patrick M. McGannon, Abigail June Stavenger, Matthew Stavenger and Mark Stavenger; her great-grandchildren, Tyler, Zachary, Mikayla, Aidan, Madilyn, Avery and Alex; and her brother, George (the late Mary Ann) Hieronymus.
Visitation is at 9:30 a.m. Friday, April 12, at St. Isaac Jogues Catholic Church, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale. A memorial Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at the church.
Interment will follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Sullivan Funeral Home in Hinsdale handled the arrangements.
