John L. LaCount, 82, a U.S. Air Force Veteran and former Hinsdale resident, passed away March 31, 2024.
He was born in Hinsdale and went to Hinsdale Township High School. He moved to San Francisco after the Air Force to work for United Airlines. When United Airlines moved its headquarters to Chicago, the family settled in Hinsdale.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Anna LaCount; his children, Michael LaCount, Lisa (Jeff Mariner) LaCount, and Andre (Katie) LaCount; his grandchildren, Kyle, Lola, Collin, Connor, Colton and Cora; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Mary LaCount.
John will be deeply missed by Sylvia Strange and Toby.
