Carolyn Stephanie Karas of Hinsdale passed away peacefully June 6, 2024, at home.
Carolyn, 59, grew up in Golf with her loving parents, Alexander and Lorraine Anderson, and her two sisters. She graduated from Niles North High School and went on to Emory University to major in political science. After graduation she enjoyed a many decades-long career at Nordstroms, but her greatest joy was being a mother.
She is survived by her daughter, Clara Karas; her sisters, Allison (Todd) Baker and Lara Anderson (Allen Johnson); her nephew, Alexander Baker; and her niece, Kelsey Baker.
Carolyn will be interned at Rosehill Cemetery during a private service later this summer.
