Elizabeth Hubbell, 87, passed away June 29, 2024, in Downers Grove.
Elizabeth worked for almost 20 years in the Community Consolidated Elementary District 181 school system, where she was a dedicated and valued member. She loved traveling the world, sailing with her husband and cooking for her friends and family. Elizabeth’s kindness and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Daniel V. Hubbell.
She is survived by her five children, David Hubbell, Elizabeth (Daniel) Pritchard, Sarah (Robert) Stein, Joseph Hubbell and Christopher (Anastasia) Hubbell; her four grandchildren, Samantha, Lindsay, Grayson and Ethan; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 13, at St. Isaac Jogues, 306 W. Fourth St., Hinsdale.
