John A. Barrett, 68, formerly of Hinsdale, passed away July 14, 2024, in Flippin, Ark.
John was born in 1956 to Hinsdale Police Lt. Howard L. and Marilyn V. Struif Barrett.
He was a longtime resident, a graduate of Hinsdale Central, and an employee of the Hinsdale water dept before his retirement.
John was preceded in death by his daughter, Rachel Barrett, who passed away July 30, 2023.
He is survived by his siblings; Michael Barrett, Patricia Jackson-Kellogg and Cindi Barrett-Eastwold; six nephews; and one niece.
