Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Aug. 14.

DUI arrest

Brandon K. Johnson, 33, 4002 Wilcox Ave., Bellwood, was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, driving with a blood-alcohol level higher than .08, improper lane use and use of an unsafe tire at 8:09 p.m. Aug. 7 in the 600 block of West Ogden Avenue. The suspect submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit, and he was charged and released to appear in court.

Vehicles entered

Hinsdale police received reports of six vehicles being entered between 6 p.m. Aug. 10 and 9:45 a.m. Aug. 11. Nothing was reported missing from the vehicles.

• Three unlocked vehicles were entered and rummaged through in the 100 block of Maumell Street.

• A vehicle was entered and rummaged through in the 700 block of West Chicago Avenue.

• An unknown suspect was observed on surveillance video entering a vehicle and rummaging through the interior in the 10 block of South Adams Street.

• An unlocked vehicle was entered and rummaged through between in the 500 block of North Bruner Street.

Cash missing

Cash went missing from a patient’s purse while it was in her room at The Pearl of Hinsdale, 600 W. Ogden Ave., between 11 p.m. Aug. 8 and noon Aug. 9.

Identity theft reported

A resident of the 5500 block of South Madison Street discovered a fraudulent charge on his business credit card account made on July 28. The incident was reported Aug. 8.
