Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Sept. 10.
Warrant arrest
Phillip L. Thompson, 54, 114 67th St., Westmont, was arrested on a warrant out of Westmont at 5:20 p.m. Sept. 4 at Chestnut and Lincoln streets after police responded to a suspicious person report. He was taken to the Westmont Police Department.
Driver flees police
A known suspect fled from police during an attempt to stop him for moving and equipment violations at 7:59 p.m. Sept. 5 at 55th Street and Route 83.
Thefts reported
• Building materials were stolen at 3 a.m. Sept. 2 from the front yard of a home in the 200 block of South Vine Street.
• Suspects were observed on surveillance video stealing bottles of liquor from Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave., on Aug. 22. The incident was reported Sept. 4.
Mailbox vandalized
A mailbox was damaged between 2 p.m. Sept. 2 and 1 p.m. Sept. 3 in the 500 block of Bonnie Brae Road.
