Hinsdale police distributed the following reports Oct. 23.

Motorist arrested on warrant

James W. Buchholz, 71, 1689 Elm St., Des Plaines, was arrested on a warrant out of Calhoun County at 10:10 a.m. Oct. 17 at 55th and Grant streets after his vehicle became disabled. He posted bond and was released to appear in court.

Park bathroom vandalized

Graffiti was discovered Oct. 21 spray painted on the bathroom wall at Robbins Park, 303 W. Seventh St.

Identity theft incidents

• A credit card account was opened and fraudulent charges made between Aug. 1 and Sept. 23, 2023, using the identity of a resident of the 800 block of South Bodin Street. The incident was reported Oct. 18.

• Someone filed a fraudulent tax return between May 1 and Oct. 18 using the identity of a resident of the 200 block of East Fourth Street.

Credit cards stolen

Credit cards were stolen from the 500 block of North Grant Street and used to make fraudulent purchases on Oct. 16.

Email fraud reported

A resident of the 400 block of North County Line Road received a fraudulent email from an unknown suspect on Oct. 7. The incident was reported Oct. 17.
