Rose Theresa (De Santis) Dubiel, formerly of Westmont and Brookfield, passed away peacefully Dec. 15, 2024, at the age of 106, the oldest resident of King-Bruwaert House in Burr Ridge.
She was born in 1918 to Vincent and Rose De Santis.

Everyone loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Arthur Theodore Dubiel; her daughter, Christine (Deacon Marco) Lovero; her sisters, Ann DeDario and Atillia Bednar; and her brothers, Ray and Vince.
Rosie, as she was known fondly by her husband, is survived by five children, Jeanine Donner of Hinsdale, Raymond (Marta) Dubiel, Marianne Vigenser, Arthur Dubiel and Rosanne (Mark) Money; her 18 grandchildren; her 29 great-grandchildren; her two great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 19, at Adolf & Powell Funeral Home, 7000 S. Madison St., Willowbrook.
